💙💛 Homecoming wasn't just for our high schoolers! 🎉🏈

The Primary School Caring Club participated in last week's Homecoming Bonfire 🔥 by raising funds via their photo booth 📸. Not only did they exhibit fantastic business skills 💼, but they also used their creativity to make signs and props!

Way to go, Primary Panthers! 🐾👏

🦎🔬 Our first graders recently explored animal adaptations and survival through an exciting hands-on activity led by Monica Graziani and her Biotechnology and Anatomy students from the senior high school! 🐾 Serving as mentors, our high school students worked directly with our first graders, extending their learning from the Mystery Science curriculum. 🧪✨This collaboration provided our high school students with an authentic opportunity to practice leadership, scientific communication, and laboratory skills while giving our youngest learners an exciting introduction to the awe of science. 🌱🔬

Most importantly, this experience was a wonderful example of citizenship, where our students learn from one another, serve as mentors, and help build a stronger school community. 💙🐾👏

💙 It was a BLUE day but not in a sad way! 💙

As our kindergarten students learn their colors, Mrs. Welch's class is celebrating each new color with a special color day! Last week, students celebrated Blue Day in a big way.

Along with wearing blue, students enjoyed some special time with the big blue blocks at the Primary School. It was a fun, hands-on way to celebrate learning—and, of course, the color blue! 💙🟦

Dear Primary School Families,

As the district continues to work closely with the municipality, FRPS has been notified that traffic congestion on Sardis Road during dismissal is causing several safety concerns. Today, I’m asking for your help and support to ensure all of our learners arrive home efficiently by following the guidelines below:

Do not arrive before 3:15 p.m. Early arrivals create significant traffic backups on Sardis Road and could create unsafe conditions.
Plan to arrive between 3:15–3:40 p.m. for student pickup.
Panther Shuttle families: If you are picking up a student arriving from the Intermediate School, please do not arrive before 3:25 p.m. to allow for shuttle transition and reduce congestion.
Remain in your car at all times. School staff will assist students as needed.
Stay alert and close to the car in front of you to use all available space while waiting in line to keep traffic moving efficiently.

By committing to the guidelines above, our school helps support student and community safety while being a good neighbor to those who travel on Sardis Road. We will continue to monitor dismissal procedures and, if traffic congestion does not improve, the school may transition to restricting access to the school’s entrance until 3:15 p.m.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping make dismissal safe, smooth, and stress-free for everyone during the 26–27 school year.

Sincerely,

Lauren Reiber

The Franklin Regional Panther Foundation is proud to support a love of reading from an early age through our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Through this program, children under the age of 5 who reside in the Franklin Regional School District can receive a free, age-appropriate book delivered to their home every month, helping families build a home library and creating special opportunities to read together. 📬📚

💙 Do you have a young child who could benefit? Sign up today!

Let’s work together to put more books into the hands of our youngest learners and inspire a lifelong love of reading. 🌟
